As most know, well-dressed tires can make or break the overall look of a car after a detail... every great detailer needs a secret weapon in their arsenal of professional auto detailing supplies that makes their hard work stand out from the rest- Ultra Blue Tire Shine does just that!
Ultra Blue is a high-gloss solvent-based dressing formulated specifically for tires. It lays down smooth and produces a wet look on tires that lasts for weeks. It can be applied by spraying onto the tire, brushing on, or using a tire dressing applicator. Beyond making tires look new, Ultra Blue Tire Shine can also help prevent cracking and dry rot in tires.
How to Apply:
Prep your tires by thoroughly cleaning them using a dedicated tire cleaner, degreaser, or all purpose cleaner. We typically recommend ShowCar's Grand Clean or one of their many degreasers for this purpose. Scrub the tires using a stiff bristle brush until no more grime is coming out of the tires, then allow to fully dry before continuing to tire shine application. Using compressed air or a leaf blower can help dry the tire faster.
For a high-gloss shine, spray, brush, or wipe Ultra Blue onto tires and allow to dry completely, only wiping off overspray from surrounding surfaces; wait at least 30 minutes before driving the vehicle to prevent sling. We often recommend applying Ultra Blue in the evening so it can fully soak into the tire overnight. For extra dry tires, two applications may be required.
For a matte sheen, spray, brush, or wipe Ultra Blue onto tires and use a towel to buff off excess.
