The hybrid skate design provides users with the flexibility to choose between two skate sets: a smaller set with a reduced surface area, ideal for harder mouse pads, and a larger set that performs exceptionally well on softer mouse pads. Both skate sets include a sensor skate, ensuring consistent CPI by maintaining a constant distance between the sensor and the surface.
