The Daytime Blue Light Blocking Lenses are fitted into the frame and are clear coloured. They help to reduce eye strain by blocking out the harmful blue light from computer, laptop, smartphone and tablet screens. This is the light that can cause digital eyestrain, headaches, dry eyes and much more.

2 hours before you want to go to sleep, clip on the magnetic Night-time Blue Light Blocking Lens which is amber coloured . Combined with the daytime lenses mounted in the frame, they block out over 90% of all blue wavelength light. By blocking out the blue light, your body is able to start producing melatonin, which will help you fall asleep. Do you watch TV in bed or look at your phone late at night? And do you struggle with your sleep? Clip on our amber blue light blocking lens and hey presto - you'll start getting much better sleep!

While light of any kind can suppress the secretion of melatonin, blue light at night does so more powerfully. Harvard researchers conducted an experiment comparing the effects of 6.5 hours of exposure to blue light to exposure to green light of comparable brightness. The blue light suppressed melatonin for about twice as long as the green light and shifted circadian rhythms by twice as much.
