While the most common tarps are rectangular or butterfly-shaped, they don’t offer all-round protection against the elements, whereas the PROTEUS has two triangular flaps on each side that overlap to form a solid barrier on all sides, ideal for use with all kinds of hammocks with its 10.5ft long ridgeline. Built from polyester taffeta with a layer of PU-coating, the PROTEUS offers 2000mm waterproof protection, rip-resistance, shape retention, and is quick to dry for convenient use. Campers can also use the PROTEUS with mesh tents for UV and rain protection while enjoying good airflow, or consider using the tarp on its own as a quick and simple outdoor shelter. Note that this product does not come with tent poles but does include a setup kit of stakes, guy-lines, and a stuff sack.
